Purely for administrative & management reasons, besides preserving the cultural heritage of these groups, we have constituted the GEMS. In order that those speaking vernacular languages contribute to the community & we utilize the vast untapped potential of our sisters/brothers in Christ, we are attempting to make available material & organize activities for various language & regional groups -we call them GEMS - Goans, East-Indians, Mangaloreans & South-Indians.

This will enables us protect the very valuable culture that these GEMS have, which at times we lose, because some group may be small in number or with little resources/encouragement, while others may be more active. The languages, we plan to work with include - English, Konkani, Marathi, Malyalam, Tamil, Gujarathi, Hindi & any other - as the need arises.
