Five believers detained for distribution of tracts

Tamil Nadu, June 16, 2016: According to reports, Hindu fundamentalists, consisting of dozens of people brutally attacked Christian women engaged in the distribution of tracts in Pollachi.

All the five women team involved in distribution of Christian tracts are taken into custody by police from Pollachi west.

Five women christan believers namely Teresa, Innasi – Tuticorin ; Hepsi – Tirunelveli, Packiyam – Tisayanvilai, Shanthi – Coimbatore were arrested for distributing Christian tracts. The inspector of police and also District Superintendent of police were contacted for security of the Christian women arrested for distributing tracts. The bail hearing is posted for tomorrow.
