Goa desecration cases: Francis Pereira was brainwashed by Israeli inmates in jail, says Manohar Parrikar

Panaji, July 19, 2017: Francis Pereira, who was arrested last week in connection with a series of cases of alleged desecration of Christian religious symbols in South Goa district, was brain washed by Isreali inmates in jail, Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar said on Wednesday.
Parikar made the statement while addressing the state Assembly.
50-year-old Pereira was arrested by a team of special investigation officers from Curtorim village in South Goa.
The Cross in at least 12 places and a temple have been vandalised in south Goa district since July 1.
