Nun activist Sr. Valsa John's first death anniversryJarkhand, November 2, 2012: Sr.Valsa John was killed on 15th November, 2011 in the village Pachuara of Pakur District for opposing the illegal mining mafia.. This was indeed a martyrdom for the cause of the poor and the marginalised communities in Jharkhand. Shedding her blood on the birth day of Jharkhand, she has inspired all struggling people to deepen our life-giving commitment for the liberation of the poor. We the social activists working in the area believe, that a simple service and a soul- searching deliberation on relevant social themes will be a befitting commemoration to Sr. Valsa’s Martyrdom.

We invite you dear friend, to participate in a memorial service and deliberations on Sr.Valsa’ martyrdom day.

9.00 A.M Memorial religious service in the Vijaypur, Dumka cemetery
11.30 A.M. Memorial deliberations in Johar HRD centre, Near LIC, Dumka

Thanking you
In Solidarity
