Her father is a laborer in the fields of the landlord for last five years. He has three daughters and four sons. Due to the poverty, his children also helped their parents in the fields to earn some more money for the family.

On 25 January 2013 at about 6:30 pm, Fouzia Bibi went to bring milk from a nearby Haveli (A place for cattle) of landlord, when she was coming back with the jug of milk, the two Muslims culprits – Sher Muhammad and Shabir Ali – armed with a pistol and who are the influential persons, abducted her and imprisoned her in a room. Then they forcibly raped and tortured her. There was no one who would hear the cries of minor girl while she was being raped and left her unconscious.

After coming to conscious she came to house and told her mother all about what was happened with her and also told the names of rapists. When her father came home her mother also told him about the tragic incident which happened with their daughter Fouzia Bibi. Malooka Masih with some other Christians of the area immediately went to police station at Sarai Mughal and told of the sad incident but the police officials did not bother to listen. After being disappointed with the police, they went to Pattoki and told Rev.Saleem Gill of the DS Pattoki Church of Pakistan in the Lahore diocese of Bishop Irfan Jamil. Rev.Gill called LEAD chief, Advocate Sardar Mushtaq Gill and narrated the tragedy and also requested for legal assistance in this case.

On 29 January 2013, LEAD’s legal team went to Deputy Superintendent Police, Pattoki and submitted the complaint against the rapists which was admitted and the FIR bearing No.22/2013 was registered against the culprits under section 376 PPC. Malooka Masih said the culprits were threatening him and his other family members of dire consequences. He added that they were threatened and warned that they would be falsely involved in criminal cases, if they pursued the case with the police and court. “They are terrified and under threats”, said Ashiq Masih uncle of Fouzia Bibi. “We want and demand security for our lives while we will go on work and jobs” said Mashooq Masih, another uncle of Fouzia Bibi. “They are under fear of hurt and insecurity”, said Sadiq and Sharif Masih, said her other relatives. “We are Christians and poor that’s why such incidents happened with us. we are not safe in Pakistan. Neither is our honor and belongings” Sharif Masih said.

Chief of LEAD, Advocate Sardar Mushtaq Gill met with the family and victim girl and also prayed for them. They were satisfied a little bit due to involvement of LEAD in this case and specially for legal and moral support. LEAD has demanded justice for this victim girl and strongly condemned such acts.
