Pastor and believers beaten and arrested in ChhattisgarhChhattisgarh, December 9, 2012: At 2:30 pm an attack took place in Tarra Village 50 kilometers from Masamundra in Chattisgarh State. Masamundra is 55 Kilometers from Raipur city capital of Chattisgarh State. Brother Lachan Sahu conducted a prayer meeting in his place at Tarra Village. Pastor Sunil Joseph 37 Years old from Bhilai and Pastor Nandkishore 38 years old from Raipur were invited to minister in these meetings. As the meeting was going on 12 Bajrang Dal goons barged into the meeting place and caught hold of Pastor Sunil and Nandkishore and beat them very badly both have suffered internal injury.

Then the Bajrang Dal goons called the police and in the meanwhile they came out and they damaged Lachan Sahu’s Alto car that was parked outside. In the menwhile Police came and took Sunil, Nandkishore and Devcharan Sahu, who is 32 years old and is Lachan Sahus brother to the Rajim Police Station and they are still in the lock up .

When Lachan Sahu and other believers went to the police station to lodge their complaint against the radicals, around 50 Bajrang Dal and their supporters circled the police station and didn’t allow them to get in to the station. The Police too didn’t help belivers.
