Peacock A crowd watched a peacock spread its tail and show its dazzling plumage on day in a park zoo. The bird drew oohs and aahs from the people as it strutted regally about its pen.

Peacock & DuckThen a dull-brown duck waddled between the peacock and the crowd. The peacock became angry and drove the duck back into the nearby pond. In its rage, the peacock’s tail closed like a fan and the bird seemed ugly.

Duck SwimmingBut the duck began swimming and diving gracefully in the pond and no longer seemed unattractive. Those who had been singing the praises of the peacock now loved the duck.
